If you are a fan of biriyanis and other Indian style food, then this is a safe bet. I have been here many times. Most times, I have had a memorable experience. But once, the AC was not working and we had a tough time. There were families and kids with us and they couldn't solve the issue at all. Finally we walked out without having food.Barring that one bad experience, it's been a great experience.

The advantage of the restaurant being on the road also turns out to be disadvantage for having no parking space. The location is tricky aswell. the restaurant interior is good and though it may feel cramped, its not bad. The party hall at first floor is our frequent visiting spot for most of events, particularly for toastmasters. The food is basically Kerala cuisine, yet Chinese are served. for affordable event hall, this place could prove worthy.

Normal first class restaurant. Not much expensive. Food and services are good.

Nice food... Good options for vegetarians... Veg Thali/ Ela Sadhya (Banana Leaf Lunch) is delicious... South Indian (Kerala) & North Indian cuisine...

Beautiful Environment with normal taste food, chicken biryani is good. Rates are normal, staff behavior is very nice.

Today we attended the dinner buffet. But they served us cold food. We didn't get satisfaction. That's not a hotel... like vegetable market. ..Atmosphere and ambience also very bad.They are serving food in very bad table with old table cloths.

During my recent visit I found unhygienic cutlery which were not washed properly. The catering was not clean. There was no hand wash in washroom and even no tissues. The management really need to attend these issues which can affect someone's health

shalimar palace is in under maintainance......there is 3 big hall room and turkey kitchen will be added.

Good Indian food

One of the best restaurant I’ve ever visit. Verities of food to choose, delicious test and neat and clean environment will make you come again and again. You will feel dining at home. Staffs are very polite and responsive. Self serving buffet available. Authentic and signature dishes will melt your food habits in an another level. If you visit once I’m sure you will write more better review then me. In a word it was just “AWESOME”. Five star rating is less then of its actual grate!

Very bad service . Ordered onam sadya , they confirmed that they will deliver by 12 noon . They did not delivered the food and they didn't pick up the call as well..

Economical tasty and fast service

Kerala style sadhya is a speciality here.

We ordered Ela Sadhya from this restaurant on regular basis but now the taste of the food has totally deteriorated. The original taste of Kerala food is not at all available anymore and also the qty of servings is very less as compared to what we were getting earlier at the time of delivery.

Centrally located indian restaurant. Been here quite a few times and overall experience is good with staffs, food quality and cleanliness . Not usually crowded and good for a group of people for launch or dinner. They also have delivery option which I will have to try .

Delicious as well as affordable buffet dinner. Staffs are pretty friendly. Nice place for family hangouts. Parking space is less which is the only drawback but staffs will help you to park your vehicle.

Good vegetarian food....had been for a party...they have a new party hall as well...they need to find a way for parking...the rest is all good.

Disappointing. Second visit in a row they came back after 20 minutes saying orders are not available. In addition the food available was brought to table after 45 minutes🙈 never again 🙏

We had been there for couple of times, food is nice. you can go for Dinner Buffet offer, there was enough variety compared to price, but the food was not that much warm.They have 4 -5 small private dining rooms, if you don't want to get disturbed You will have trouble finding a parking space as it can accommodate max 4 cars

I love the Banana leaf vegetarian meals with additional Fish curry. It is awesome. Gives you a feel of authentic Kerala meals

Very bad, non friendly staffs.... Only 4 car park and hotel management is not bothered where coustmer will park. Irresponsible staffs.

I ordered 1 mutton kadhai... the mutton they used was frozen and i specifically told the guy to put clean mutton and for around 30 riyals dish he gave 4 pieces of mutton and all were with 90% bones and fat... and it tasted so bad ... as i know that this is frozen mutton and i know how frozen mutton taste like and the guy in the restaurant is telling lies on my face that it was fresh mutton. 1st and last time to go in that restaurant.

Simple and nice place for biriyani, meals, and Indian style food. Friendly and prompt service and a good place for an easy-going meal with family. The fresh fruit drinks are excellent and overall the menu is reasonably priced. Though it looks like there's not much parking space, the friendly staff will arrange for a no-hassles parking.
